About Us
In 1953, a group of Christian men and women knelt on the banks of the Hornsby Spring and prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for their decision as to purchase this land. Camp Kulaqua Retreat and Conference Center was a direct answer to their desires and prayers, and ever since God’s blessings have been evident all around.
Our Retreat and Conference Center has grown into one of the largest Seventh-day Adventist Camps in the world and is one of the favorite destinations for Florida Conference churches and events! We also serve many other Christian groups of different denominations, schools and field trips, universities and community programs, as well as other not-for-profit organizations and many more.
In this age of technology, our biggest desire is to provide a place where people can come together, enjoy the great outdoors and connect with God through His creation in a much deeper and personal way.
Camp Kulaqua's Mission Statement:
Camp Kulaqua’s mission is to serve the constituents of the Florida Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists with a friendly and quality camping and retreat facility that sets an atmosphere allowing for the Holy Spirit to touch as many lives as possible.
Secondarily, to use Camp Kulaqua as an outreach to non-members who can abide by the policies of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the principles of Christianity.
May all be to the honor and glory of God.
Camp Kulaqua's Vision Statement:
